hunting a private ranch near sheridan for mulies in october. anyone familar with this country. i understand there are a lot of deer there. any input?

I lived in Sheridan for several years. Lots of Deer, Whitetail near the rivers and Mulies in the sage. Where are you hunting exactly?

I hunted there last fall, open rolling hills, with draws with lots of deer in them.

were hunting a small ranch up there. from talking to the landowner there is a lot of deer i the area. i just hope there are some decent bucks. never killed a muley yet. the landowner said the property borders some state land or something, if i remember right. we'll be there around oct. 5. i hope missing the opener won't hurt us.
