I have a late season shiras moose cape if anyone is interested contact me and I will get you what details I have and maybe we can work something out. (Killed Nov. 12). Here are a few pictures of the bull. Sorry, I didn't really take pictures thinking about the cape.

Cool bull! Are you required to send in teeth for aging?

Yes. I'm not completely sure if it is required or not, but the G&F sent me the box to do it, so I did.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I would have loved to see what he broke off, but I'm pretty happy. I think he's a pretty good bull for the unit I was hunting. I have contacted a few taxidermists but they weren't really wanting to store it until someone needed it. I will contact a few others and see how it goes.

Nice bull. Unfortunately there is not much of a market for moose capes. My taxidermy tanned mine about 12 years ago and still has not used. My daughter is going to pick it up and use it on a pack to display her moose antlers.
