Will the Stratus Jacket be the warmer of the two? What size is it? I have 12-year-old grandson in Iowa with no body fat. He is small for his age and was so cold on his whitetail lasted only lasted about an hour and a half on Saturday. Where is the jacket located?

I imagine the stratus is a very warm jacket. Again it is never been worn. It is a youth small, My guess would be for kids 40-60lbs? 6-8 size? We used the Rankine hoody Moore and layered appropriately. We are in California.
