Smoke?

Was thinking about heading up to H/G for a little scouting. Can anyone tell me how smokey it is. Can you still glass up high? Thanks in advance.

I was in G over the weekend and it was a little hazy, most of it was NE of where I was at.

Ive been in the highcountry of G the past 2 weekends. Smoke is no problem as long as your south of the fire area. . The winds have the smoke pushed north and the scouting has been clear as day for me. . Anything north of the hoback region your going to risk losing glassing ability with the smoke

All the smoke is flowing north. It has been very hazy in YNP and the surrounding areas in NW Wyoming. It seems a little clearer this morning. The high temperatures don't help.

A new fire near Whit Creek in Wapiti, Wyoming. It is moving south towards the South Fork of the Shoshone River. Growing rapidly and pushed by some strong winds.

Ya when that wind picked up today it started roaring

Haha no leave the 380 at home and bring something bigger. The 380 doesn't seem to work very good on bears.
