Smoked Shotgun Shells

Have some elk hamburger that my father in law gifted to me and I think I’ll try it next time he visits. He’s getting older and not many more hunts left in him and he was very proud to share some meat with me
 
I need to try these and I'm sure some of you would want to so here it is... Maybe the end of May when I am down another 10 lbs.
Nice, thanks. It’s that time of the year, we are already in the 90’s and rising daily it seems. We grill outdoors around the pool at least four days a week. Some of the things we love to grill are chicken, burgers, brauts, steaks and of course jalapeño poppers. Over the past couple of years I have really taken a liken to marinated chicken thighs. A good lunch and a watermelon or salad for dinner hits the spot in this weather.
 
Summer is something that must be endured between
those glorious Frosty mornings.
Down here it's simply too hot/humid to be outside about
3/4 months of the year.
BUT - I do grow a variety of peppers for the sake of stuffing
with something and grilling, OR for putting on Fajitas.
Putting rattlesnake beans in the ground this weekend.
Come on October!!!
