Looking at possibly heading back in there for my late cow tag.. any recent visitors to the area have any input on road conditions and snow accumulation? I plan on towing my side x side in there if possible, or camping close to the highway and riding in every day. PM me if you like.

Nobody been up there? Curious how Waterlog Summit is looking and the road down into the Bruneau River. Towing a flatbed with side x side.

I was in elko last weekend. Didn’t go that far north but I imagine it’s pretty thick up high. There was a few inches on the valley floor in elko Sunday.

I don't doubt there's some snow hanging around..Thinkin I will have to park at the top and ride in and maybe hike from there. Waterlog was a mess coming out in that last storm. Should be frozen early and late I guess regardless of the condtitions.

We were across the highway in 062 two weeks ago when the storm came through. On that side, which should be somewhat the same it was 6-8” in the deep areas. Couldn’t get up high and we were on modified atvs. After we left another storm came through. Last weekend we hit the west side of 062 and south of there. Had decent luck getting up on the sunny slopes. Anyplace the sun didn’t hit for very long still had 6-10”. All the elk and deer were still up high last weekend. But again that was on the opposite of the highway. The park manager at the Wildhorse state park is super knowledgeable about the area and it’s conditions back in there. Might try calling him.
