>so I take it, we're going
>to have big bulls to
>hunt this year?

That is my hope WB!!

It is now a muddy mess in my yard, but was beautiful this morning as I played with the dog.

Ya we had about three inches here in ABQ too. Our Archery Club (SCBA) was supposed to have a work party today but it was cancelled because of the snow. Next week is our Key Shoot come out and have some fun, shoot and join the club.

Bob hopefully we'll have some good spring/summer rains and get some really good antler growth.

Vichris,

Do you have more info on the shoot? I have been looking for an archery club/range to join.

Thanks,

NMYB

Here's a link to our website.....http://scbaarchery.org/index.html

Like I said we are having our "key" shoot next weekend 3/27-3/28. We call it our key shoot because thats when we kick off our season and everyone comes to shoot and renew or join our club. The reason they call it a "key" shoot is because thats when we change the keys to the lock to get into the range. Actually, last year we started using a heavy duty combination lock and every one got the combination. They be changing the combination on the lock this weekend. We have two 25 target 3D ranges and a practice range, 10-80 yds. You'll meet lots of helpful friendly archers willing to show you around and assist you with range questions or just general hunting/archery questions.

PM me if you want more info.

Yea, who would expect snow on a mid march oryx hunt. I dont think it got over 38 degrees on our hunt.
