Snow

I was at about 8500 feet in the Star Valley area today and there was not much. A new skiff over another inch or so here and there form a few days ago.

I'm curious too since I'll be out in that area next week. I like the snow for hunting purposes but dont want so much that I might get stranded! Seems like the farther north got hit with higher amounts, and also the wind river range.

Not sure if this helps but here's a couple web links I use to see snow amounts:

1. SNOTEL data for WY http://www.wunderground.com/StateSnowDepth.asp?state=WY

2. WY road conditions - live camera shots (this one is of Teton pass but they have cameras throughout the state): http://wyoroad.info/highway/webcameras/WYO22TetonPass/WYO22TetonPass.html

5" - 8" where we were today. Down low, nothing. If the temps stay warm, it'll be gone in a few days. Most trails up high are a greasy mess...

Looks like a bunch more might be coming! Glad I'm hunting the last part of the season, just hope it doesnt get too deep where I'd like to go.
