Dad and I drew as non residents but sounds like the blue tounge wiped all the deer out? What say yall familiar with the area?

Not all, but a big die off. Some pockets worse than others. Hammered south central South Dakota and heard it was worse on the west side.

Not familiar with the area, but I hunted Gregory County a couple years ago. As a mostly eastern tree-stand whitetail hunter, I was surprised how effective rattling from the ground was. Prior to that, I quit carrying rattling antlers because I had never had any luck with them.
