South Eastern Wyoming Turkey

Has anyone had any luck finding turkeys around the chugwater area? Or in/around the Medicine Bow National forest area?

My guess is that the small walkin near Chugwater gets hit pretty hard. I've glassed that area from the highway just about every trip by and haven't ever seen any turkeys. There isn't a whole lot of prime turkey habitat with trees for them to roam.

I haven't spent time in the Medicine Bow. My guess is that it takes a bit of time and boot leather to find them. Some of the better creek bottoms likely is private and leased by outfitters.

Thank you for the information! I had assumed that Chugwater would be a difficult hunt as the only open land is just off the highway. I appreciate your help!
