South Slope - Yellowstone - Cell Service - ATT or Verizon

Curious as to anyone that has spent some time in the area, which carrier usually gets the better signal. Ive looked at their coverag maps but they usually arent that reliable.

Thanks, I have Verizon, but if ATT had a lot better service I was going to grab an ATT hotspot or prepaid.

Your verizon phone is probably unlocked so you could buy a sim and cheap pre paid att plan.

Just my 2cents worth but it seems like the Verizon phone I used to have, had better coverage than the AT&T that I have now. (On the south slope unit)

Verizon hands down for overall coverage. Verizon co-locates with the local carrier in the Basin.
But if these fires don't get under control....the south slope will be limited to hunting areas. What species/season are you hunting?

My son has the youth elk tag. We are leaving here in a few hours from Texas. Fires definitely have me concerned and scrambling.
