Sorry I don't have personal experience to talk about but I too have been looking at this for me and the kids.
I have done some research on several waterfowling websites and a name that has come up a lot and is kid friendly (not all are from what I gather) is Northern Skies Outfitters.
Good luck in your search, hope you figure it out and have a great experience with your kid. I will let you know what I decide and how it works out if we can go.

Place a ad there and you will have some guys hit ya up. Snow spring hunt is awesome if you hit the 2 weeks that they pour thru. If you can drop everything and go that is the best thing for hitting the massive flocks. But those guys that guide will give the heads up on that. Just left SD and the places that had open water was packed with snow and blues, With snow covering all the fields they will pretty much fly thru.
