Stock Modification

I got ahold of a take off stock from a model 700 LR Sendaro, mounted it, and don't much care for how fat the wrist and forearm is. Can I sand this thing down to a leaner profile without screwing up the stocks integrity?

I have a Sendaro and always thought about trimming it myself. If you pull the stock off you should be able to see the aluminum bedding block, I would sure think you could shave a little off the fat fore end on the sides I also believe that H and S precision has a slimmer stock

Most fiberglass/carbon stocks have a “shell” which is structural and part of their integrity.
Don’t start “thinning” any deeper than the paint or expect issues.
I’ve trimmed down several stocks in the grip areas but alway repair with hand layered fiberglass and epoxy.
Thin away but be prepared to lay up some fiberglass.

Well crap. Not the answers I was hoping for but glad I asked before starting to shave away. Appreciate the responses. Any interest in a Sendaro take-off stock? LOL...
