Sure it does, if the NRA was greasing politicians instead of providing WLP with a 7 figure salary, 7 figure yearly retirement, a huge expense account, housing, etc....they wouldn't have to worry about any administration "coming after them".

Internal fighting has cost the NRA a bunch of money, a loss in focus to their mission, etc...leaving them extremely vulnerable.

Those are the facts...even if you don't like them.

Seems pretty clear to me what they want to do and has nothing to do with Lil' Wayne. The NRA is the big kid in the 2A play ground so of course BIG GOVERNMENT with a society controlling anti gun mentality wants to close them down.

They're vulnerable because your party is about to control all 3 branches. Giving money to that party thru the years would have been more useless than Wayne's bloated salary.

Who are they gonna get to come get our guns? I know they can regulate ammo powder and primers. But all the cops and people serving our country said they won't touch it! So who they gonna send to our house to pick em up?

The NRA could have been "greasing" all they wanted. There's a new sheriff in town, and has a lot of liberal support in his posse. It's going to be an ugly few years.
 
Every organization has it's issues, but the NRA has supported and protected the second amendment for decades along with promoting youth involvement in the sport. Their voice has kept many of the gun rights that we all utilize. You don't want this organization not fighting for our cause or getting eliminated.

As Hunters and Gun owners you don't want to fall from within and open the door to more gun control. Supporting the organization with the largest gun owner membership that supports your gun rights is more important now then in the past. The NRA has been here since 1871 fighting for your second amendment rights and gun ownership.

If The NRA Is not your choice, Join any organization that continues to support your cause.

You can thank California for that crazy-ass sh*t. Don't worry, we've got plenty of inane, ridiculous laws that try to temper gun ownership in Cali that KH will try to bring up on a federal level. Don't NEEEEED to take the gun, just make it difficult as hell to be a gun owner and sportsmen.

P.S. After COVID started and people started panic-buying firearms, there were plenty of lefty, first-time gun buyers were pretty irked at the level of "administration" required to buy any gun. I found that amusing.

The new law on background checks for ammunition sales has been put on hole, with Judge Roger Benitez ruling that the law was “onerous and convoluted.” This was a law years in the making, passed by a 2016 ballot initiative. It was supposed to go into effect July of this year. Stephen Gutowski of the Washington Free Beacon has more:

"The experiment has been tried. The casualties have been counted," Benitez wrote. "California’s new ammunition background check law misfires and the Second Amendment rights of California citizens have been gravely injured."
The ruling dealt a blow to one of the strictest gun-control measures in the country and could provide new clarity on the extent to which voters and state governments can curtail gun rights.
The case was filed by NRA affiliate the California Rifle and Pistol Association and three-time Olympic gold medalist Kim Rhode. They claimed the state's ban on carrying ammunition across state lines, coupled with the requirement that all sales be subject to a background check—unlike most other states which only require checks for gun sales—made it far more difficult to legally purchase ammunition in the state. The system had a 16.4 percent false-positive rate with an appeals process that forced residents to wait months to correct those problems. The National Rifle Association, which helped fund the suit, celebrated the ruling.

Where were you firearms owners and hunters when the NRA and the CPRA took this to court? The NRA does have it's problems, but they are still the big dog in protecting our gun rights. If you are not a member of the NRA, I am the first person that will tell you to jump off a bridge if you complain about your gun rights being taken away. But he is correct.

The NRA used to reach out to Dems. Try to find common ground. With WLP they went scorched earth. To tge point that I wouldn't qualify for an A grade.

The NRA became a clown show, not because of leftists, but because it, like all politics, became an elitist org.

If the leader of an org is a celebrity, its because they want fame. WLP likes private jets and limos. That aint got nothing to do with the 2A

Nope. Just go look at donations to parties through the years. The reason no gun control happened during the Obama years was because NRA had developed a relationship with, and supported, Harry Reid. If it weren't for that, Obama would've got gun control passed.

Once NRA became a one-party organization instead of a one-platform organization they set themselves up for this.

But, this will ultimately be good for the NRA. They thrive during times such as these; and after LaPierre's scandals, they can use the money

Ban on all black bear KILLING.

Dont let them have their virtue signal. Get the bill amended to not killing of bears, let them explain to the citizens why there are bears in their neighborhoods.
