can anyone tell me if there is noticable difference between HD vs non-HD spotting scope models? looking to buy me a 60 mm (or 65mm) one. Obviously im willing to spend the dough, then i see the HD models, and you get that urge to go ahead spend a little more for that fully loaded model ya know. Let me know what ya think, worth the extra $600?

If you are taking picture with the scope get the HD, if not save your money.

The HD will give you better color resolution which when used for digiscope photography will make a huge difference. For straight up spotting JB is correct, save the money. You do not need the HD.

If there is anything else that I can assist you with please let me know.
