Talley Mount ????

I just got my Talley Q/R mounts for my new rem.700.
The gun hasn't arrived yet but I was looking at the mounts
bases/rings and noticed that when assembled the rings appear to be off center from the center of the bases. The seem where the two vertical rings come together are off-center from the screw holes for the bases. Will this put the scope off center from the receiver and bore? First set of Talleys I've had. Am I missing something? They are the stainless Q/R screw version.

Just so everyone knows. I had sent Talley Mnf.
an e-mail asking them about the rings/bases
appearing to be off-center. I got an e-mail back
(quick response) saying that they are designed
to be .015 off center, and it shouldn't affect
anything. Glad to know but Go figure that one!!!
