Deer for me and my hunting buddy. Deer for son and daughter. October is going to be a busy month! I also have a second season Colorado deer tag for Oct. 19-27. I'll probably turn that tag back in so I can keep my points. I can't hunt three hunts in 2 states in the same month and stay married and employed, ha ha ha. A good problem to have I guess.

Hill city road is hard to beat.... been quite a few times had them surround truck like a herd of cattle beating feet, to private and also eventual public access.

It's super early August 1-29 are the hunt dates. Would be pretty cool to get a bull in velvet. But I would be scared to shoot anything to far from roads due to heat.

My 12 year old son drew the 39 youth extra doe tag but hit the lottery with the late 46 Bull Tag....There are some toads on that hunt. He could kill one heck of a bull for his first Idaho Elk.
