Not only am I a coffee freak, but I’m also one of those guys that buys tools that I may only use once every 10 years.
I’m thinking I may need one for the garage and it would be funny as hell to break this bad boy out at base camp while my buddies are waiting on the ol’ percolator.😂

Interesting. Not sure it really saves any time or effort though. I use coffee singles in the mountains, so I just boil water.
I’m opposite of you though, I’m very tight and have a hard time buying anything. It’s a sickness. ha ha

It’s definitely not practical at all. Last deer season I tried to use a Keurig ran off of the outlet in the bed of my truck. It was a total flop due to the necessary amps required by the coffee maker. It took about 10-12 minutes to brew one cup of coffee.

I had one for a while on the job site. It was a cute idea by makita I’ll give them that. Better have some battery’s in the ready if you want multiple cups

Good to know... thanks!!! At $75 a pop for spare batteries I’d be better off with the ol reliable percolator.

I ve graduated to the pour-over for car camping but it is ceramic, so not light weight for backpacking trips. And i wouldn't want to pack out the used grounds and filter... I have found the best instant is the Mt Hagan organic singles. very good for instant coffee

A buddy of mine just makes cowboy coffee, and has filters stapeled into a funnel, he boils in one cup, and strains into another, seams to work ok., I just drink the coffee with the grounds, you can get used to it lol.
