I think this is the year I draw my Colorado unit 61muzzle Elk tag. I need to get my muzzleloader set up Colorado legal so I ordered the sizing kit. The .500 slide in pretty easy ( maybe to easy ) but the .501 are a bear to get in. The .501 show a little grooving and obviously the .501 show more. So my question is do the .500 look good enough?

Both my buddies and my ultimates and customs shoot the .501; it should take some force for sure to get it in… I think too easy is no good. My TC actually shot the .502

We get about three shots without cleaning before it’s too challenging to push another down. Anyhow love the 300 grain thors for Colorado elk!

Did you use a T-handle to start the sizing kit bullets

The Thors seem to prefer a real snug fit, if you call/email their company after the holidays sure they will help ya out, they were a solid company when I reached out with questions in the past.
