I dont know up north, but last night I went for a stroll looking for sheds and picked up a few. One on my head, I felt him crawling around(was not latched on) and the other in my shirt cruising around.My wife just about died. She made me strip down go shower, she had to do a whole monkey exam on me etc. I guess that maybe the last look around in the thick stuff. (North Texas)

I hate those stinkin' things. Does anyone know of a spray that might repel them?

LAST EDITED ON Apr-16-09 AT 10:35AM (MST)[p]Permethrin treatment on your clothes helps a lot--it doesn't repel them, it kills them. It's also great for mosquitoes and okay for gnats.

They are out in full force. I had to check my GPS just to make sure I didn't wander back east. They are thick this year.
