What are you using it for? Glassing, shooting, both?

If I’m using a tripod for both I take an rrs with anvil. If it’s just glassing I use a light slik.

Nothing is more stable to shoot from than a RRS SOAR TFCT with the Anvil head. Great for glassing from too.

I'm still using a trigger stick. I want it for glassing. I've been spending more and more time behind a spotter as I age.

I love the Slick it was supposed to be durable but I've lost two legs

I run a couple of Gitzo carbon fiber tripods and they are great but I've been considering getting an Outdoorsmans.

ive used several different ones. the reality is any tri pod will work.its the head that makes all the difference
