Trying a Double Rifle Case

I like to have my thick timber still stalking thru .45/70 rifle and I like to have my more open country, longer range 7mag. with me in hunt camp.


I don't like taking two gun cases.


I don't fly, I drive most everywhere I hunt so I didn't need a hard sided/airline approved type.


I went with this one and it had it's virgin trip hunting elk in Wyoming.

I like it I think I will get one as I always take two rifles with me hunting. Years ago when I broke my scope in a fall and of course that was the day that I finally seen the bull I was after. I hate having two cases with me as well as a .22 for small game

Does the Center Section Pad Zip/Velcro to anything or does it just lay there?

In the model I have, it's just like an old girlfriend. It looks pretty, offers some protection and is attached....but, basically just lays there.
