UFC R ich Franklin Rocks!

I meant to post last week , but did any of you watch UFC 58 ?? Rich Franklin is THE MAN ! I know theres alot of Chuck fans , heck I like him too , just not against Randy , but thats done now , but what about the way Rich handled the Crow . He dominated the fight , even with a broken mitt! Rich Franklin is a beast . BJ Penn got shafted in my mind , but I guess the take downs St. Pierre was getting counted for more points than Penn was getting for ground and pound. Next up Ortiz and Forest eh , cuz you know the Pitt Bull is gonna demolish Silvia....

I figured DL would make it closer. Franklin dominated for sure. I figured Penn got some good licks in on GSP, but GSP pretty much took the fight to Penn...was the more aggressive fighter. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch of that one. I look forward to Tito and Griff. I think tito will win but I hope griff takes him.

Rich is an awesome fighter and a class act, he has handled everybody that has been thrown his way. There are a lot of politics in the UFC and Rich Franklin is their "golden boy" at 185lbs. I think that this is one reason Matt Lindland was kicked to the curb, their styles would favor Lindland and he is not a "company guy" if you know what I mean. Matt is very outspoken and opiniated and would speak his mind regardless of whether it was good for the UFC. Dana terminated his contract when he had the chance because Matt wore a competiting casinos shirt to a weigh-in. Anyway, Matt is a tough SOB and it would be a treat to see he and Franklin get after it.

As for BJ vs GSP, I think that BJ won the fight. He dominated the first round and I feel split the next to rounds, GSP took him down but did nothing when he did, in fact BJ did more to GSP while he was on his back. I think that BJ let up a little and it cost him the fight. He'll be back and I wouyld put money that BJ will have the belt within the year.

"FRANKLIN RULES" He sure kicked the hell out of the "Crow". I personally don't think that BJ won that fight. I think GSP brought it and took him. I don't think that either one of them can take out Matt Hughes though. I believe that Matt is a gret fighter and a damn smart one at that. You an watch him and see him thinking during the fight. He knows how to put the leather down and the hands tapping. Can't wait to see him fight Joyce Gracie, Gracie is one of he best, and so is Hughes, so should make a great fight. I would like to see Silvia take out Arlovski, but I think Arlovski is too much for him. He's an animal. I hope Griffin wins. I dont like Tito Ortize. He's a loud mouth and he needs to be shut up, just hope he doesn't hurt Griffin too much. Muledeernut

I too like Gracie , but Matt is the current champion , and I believe he has exactly what it will take to beat Gracie , no disrespect , but Gracie time has passed to contend with the top fighters , let alone the top dog in Matt Hughes . I also hope Forrest beats the hell out of Ortiz , I think he's gonna bring it all and when Ortiz sets his feet to throw Griffen is gonna catch him , and we all know Ortiz goes nighty -night with a bit of wood shed thump!
