Thats good to here have a deer tag this year and hoping for a good buck don't want to be fighting wolves!! Congrats on the bull tag!! Heading down there for a boys trip on the snake next week for a little scouting and sturgeon fishing also have a buck and bull tags for oregon!!!

i saw tracks and heard the locals talking of a female in the crater lake area about 5 years ago. haven't seen a track or even heard of one in there since and ive been up every year. weird how they've overrun all the neighboring units and yet the draw unit remains virtually wolf free. F&G protecting their controlled hunt money? or the good old boys are doing some regulating. my money is on the latter.

I drew a unit 18 elk tag heard that the wolves are not that effective in the steep stuff

sounds like well all be seeing each other on the mountain this year...i pulled the deer tag again...
