Hunting archery in 21, up in the higher country as guys have told me that's where we need to start. Sounds like a lot of thick cover too. How far will we be able to see? so Im trying to figure out how much or how good of glass we need. I have a compact Burris spotter and a real junky older cheap scope also. Are we looking from one hillside to another at 1/2 Mile or looking at hillsides 3 miles away?

I'm slowly building a mental pic , write now the terrain from above looks tight and deep. Is this correct?

Thanks Nocwalker

It is deep and steep with a road on nearly every ridge and in the bottom of every drainage. 10x-15x is normally all we need but do use more power periodically.
