Unit 24 Cow elk hunt (muzz)

Any advice on where to look for elk on the late muzzy tag in unit 24 (Dec)?

That used to be a fun hunt. Unfortunately when the Boise Cascade ground sold out,the wind was taken out of that hunt. Almost all of the Forest Service roads pass through DFD ground. You have to get up above the private, which with each passing snow storm gets tougher.

thanks I just picked it up as a leftover and a chance to go check out an area I haven't hunted before I know success rates are on the lower side of things
