been looking at maps and google. Looks like if i come in from grandview heading on mud flat road, looks like it might be paved for ten miles or so. And the rest of the mud flat is gravel. Thinking camping around poison creek area. Just trying to find the easy route from grandview or jordan valley. Thanks mike

yeah, Mud Flat is paved about twenty miles past Grand View - pavement ends at the Oreana Cutoff Road.

Not a lot of places to camp around poison creek from what I remember. One little picnic area about 5 miles past the end of pavement has trees and a bathroom, I saw an archery hunter tent camp there several times last year - but there is no room for a trailer or anything fancy.

Other than that just a few pull offs and turn arounds.

What are you hunting? Deer, Pronghorn?

>when you summit out on MF

>where we usually camp.
>no shade there but lots
>of room.

I just camped at this spot for the last 10 days. If you have a unit 40 tag I'd go farther west and camp off one of the roads that goes north off MF road. However, the nice thing about this spot (I called it the Summit Camp Spot) is the cell service.

>Thanks Travis, I am going more
>West and to the North.
>Did you have archey
>tag? Mike

I think you were asking me this and not Travis.

I had an archery tag in 42.

Shoot me a PM with your contact info if you want to chat.

Thanks
