unit 51 bull tag

Thinking about putting in for the early bull tag in unit 51. Is this a decent hunt ? just wondering what to expect. What is the access like? elk numbers? Have the wolves taken a toll on this unit ?

There are elk there, how good it will be remains to be seen. The wolves may have moved out, don't know. Last year the wolves took a major toll killing them and moving them out of the unit. Maybe they moved with them, but I'll not be going back!

I won't be putting in for that tag any time soon. If the wolf hunt goes on, I will be there after a wolf. I know right where to find them. Ron
