since everyone is already locked and loaded, has anyone hunted 54/65 for elk. like many people I depend on other people(huntin fool, eastmans, etc..) to assess other states and digest their reccommendations and apply myself. i put in for the type 9(archery) license in 54/65 with max points. does anyone have any info about that hunt that they would be willing to share? i have hunted wyoming a number of years ago west of big piney and had a good experience but very average bulls. was hoping 54/65 was a good bet for a chance at a bigger bull during the archery season. a pm would be fine if prefered. thanks in advance. be happy to help others on more familiar turf to me... AZ and NM.
