I looked in to this unit pretty hard last year, 65 has much more public than 64 which is nearly all private. 65 goes from thick pines STRAIGHT UP to Alpine, little transition ground, makes for tough hunting in my opinion. Never did hunt it.

Hunted it the year before last & wouldn't do it again. I shot the only decent buck we saw which was a 27in 4x3. My friend shot a 2pt. Yes, private land EVERYWHERE. We hunted one canyon for 3 days straight. I don't know how many times I glassed up the same does.
