Unit 67-1 Moose.

I plan on scouting a ton. Does anyone have experience on this unit?

The mountain portion of that unit is going to be rough! Access could be tough along the front range of this foothills also, maybe knock some doors and see what happens. I had a late season deer tag in that unit a few years ago and did see a few decent bulls.

I’ve hunted 67 for deer. Probably have seen more bull moose than deer there.

The window of opportunity will be small. And if it does happen the pack out is going to be tough.

A good friend of mine had that tag several years ago. He knew the unit well and put in the time but ended up killing a smaller bull at the end of the season. You might get lucky and kill a big bull early in the hunt but don't expect it to be an easy hunt.
