Unit 76 July 4 pics

Raining today July 5 for the first time in many weeks.
Hot for this high up, never warm enough to take off
my jacket. Maybe 200 more arrived from the east but
to the south still snowed in the passes. Almost
no elk busting through. Those passes are near 13000 ft

That really is some awesome country. That area has some of the best habitat from winter to summer that I have ever seen. I think if I would have seen that area at the age of 18, I might have moved there. But Wyoming has treated me danged good, so no regrets.
