Very wet and cold. August was dry but Sept has
been wet. Hard to stay up high because of the
weather. Bugling at my tent all night maybe a
1000 bugles from late pm till daybreak. Went
into basin 5 this am and 95% of the elk were
way up high. Some were above 13000 ft and
staying up high all day. These were some of the
few elk to come down. Bugling great but still
little rut action. They are higher now than the
summer. With this weather dont want to go way up
high.
