My dad is getting near the end of his hunting career and had a few pronghorn points and drew this rifle tag. He has killed a young pronghorn buck years and years ago and is looking for at least a bigger buck this year. Anyone familiar with this unit that can point us to a few spots to start looking?

Pic of his first and only Pronghorn from the 90's.

Take the frontage road the parallels I-70. From the take any road that goes north. Plenty of goats. Should be able to find him a nice one and a couple of back up plans with 1 day of scouting.

Find water on the eastern half of the unit which should be plenty this year to spread them out but still, they will be within a mile of water. Fun and easy hunt.

Great goat congratulations! I have been having an itch to get after some pronghorn and burn some points in some states

Nice buck.!! I'm hoping to put in for this same hunt during my 5 year wait period for deer. Love the desolation on the south side of the Book Cliffs...
