Looking for some private land for my two boys and/or my two nephews, we plan to draw at least one tag in the 2021 draw. Ready to pay market rates for access to private that holds a good number of elk. You would be helping put a smile on a young boy‘s face plus ensure the future generation of youth hunters, which is where it’s at.

I’d wait for draw results before I started making plans. Those tags are impossible to predict. I applied all the years I was eligible for the tag and never drew. Lots of other people had the same luck

I hear that. Just doing some off season research is all. One can speculate about all the future hunts, it keeps me sane sometimes.

especially if you have a lot of boys, I have FOUR, 2 of age and 2 coming up through the farm system...
Ouch! That's a boat load of boys to outfit and put in for tags...$$$$.
But the great thing is, you will never lack for hunting partners, or future adventures in the wild. Nice!

Out of my five kids. The oldest drew the first year of the program. The youngest drew her last year that she could put in. Two of the other kids drew limited entry elk tags. But could never draw the youth tag.

I’d say y’all did pretty good with tags!

Kinda like drawing a tag and waiting for the last second then getting on here and asking you for help then you get mad lmao!! Let the guy do his research as early as he want good on him!!!

Thank god for hand me downs
That is a very true statement. I have 4 boys. 16, 14, 12 and 9. And boy do the hunting cloths hand me downs save my bacon. With all of them hunting, apps for Utah and out of state, food every day... I mean ever 2 hours, it can get expensive.
