Vegas coyotes???......

Does anyone have info to share on where me and the kid might be able to get on some coyotes close to Vegas? Any info please. Thanks in advance.

used to be quite a few up Far Hills Dr, all the way over the 215 up toward the red rocks. Very scraggly, skinny desert dogs, but there used to be quite a few up there. Also, for a bit more of a trip, out around Ash Springs/Alamo area, around Frenchy Lake. I have seen a lot of coyote poop while chasing chukars up against Potesi off of Blue Diamond, but have not seen a dog yet.

Dogs get hammerd pretty hard close to town. If you do hunt around here you will need to stay away from the whole wounded rabbit normal calling routine. Might be worth the extra drive and head farhter away from town. Alot of coyotes in Armagosa valley but also sees a few hunters. Good luck.
