VV Youth hunt elk -- Belated Thank you!

My nephew drew the VV youth hunt and I drew the October Rhodes Canyon Oryx hunt. I shot a 39" oryx and on the same day he shot a 343" gross elk. Thanks to the taxidermists and MM community who helped us. I also wanted to thank a couple of outfitters from New Mexico who's help was invaluable.. If you ever need some Montana help don't hesitate to ask!

nice ...very nice..My boy had his youth V V cow hunt in late Nov.We heard bulls still bugling.He had shots ,but didnt connect

the hunt was the youth hunt he drew the tag his first year we camped at cimmeron campground and hunted the westside about three and a half miles in we had spotted the bull the day before it opened and ended up killing it in the same area opening morning we ended up seeing around 8 nice 6 points when we were scouting the area and alot of smaller bulls it was the best elk hunt i've been on thanks to some of the locals for telling us about the areas to look for elk the people down their are nicest people i've met out hunting.
