i think thats what its called just wandering if the mule deer hunting is good down there and if it is hard to draw as a nonresident. also what unit it is. any info would be very appreciated thanks

Worland? Sagebrush muledeer hunting is pretty crappy anymore. Most of the areas are general, with some limited quota for whitetail. I don't know how good it is in the Big Horns, I usually hunt the desert/sagebrush areas. It has been so dry for so long and way to many doe/fawn tags, a decent muledeer is pretty scarce. 125 and 119 has seen a huge decline in numbers and quality. Trophys still exist, but you can't be to picky if you want a buck.

thanks for the info huck, what area would you think would be a decent area for a non res? not looking to kill a monster, just take the lady out and enjoy ourselves

I grew up in a town called Ten Sleep that is 27 miles from Worland but in the mountains. There are a lot of descent bucks around there on public land. The area is 35. Try the Upper Nowood or the Lower Nowood. There are some ranchers that will let you shot a smaller buck on there place as well. Good Luck.

119 wouldnt be to bad if you can draw. Maybe a region tag that lets you hunt all the general areas.
