Just wanted to drop a reminder that the Utah Wildlife Board is meeting today at 9 a.m. There's a mix of items on the agenda, and this will be the first in-person board meeting in quite some time.
The board has already received online comments about the proposals and will accept in-person public comments at the meeting. If you're interested, you can watch the meeting online or attend in person. (It will be held in the DNR Auditorium at 1594 West North Temple, Salt Lake City.)
On a related note: RAC meetings start next week for a new round of recommendations, including proposed changes to trail camera use, night-vision technologies and a few other things. The online comment period for the northern and central RACs ends tonight at 11:59 p.m. If you want to comment during the actual meetings, you'll need to attend in person.
