water purifiers revisited

I had been using a MSR Sweetwater purifier for the last year or so and would have recommended it to anyone until mine broke Saturday night while pumping water on a backpacking excursion. That was a very bad feeling. I always carry iodine tablets for just such an emergency but I really never planned on using them. Long story short, I'm in the market for a new purifier. Any helpful suggestions will be appreciated. For those of you who just use Iodine, my hat's off to you.
