Dad bought new around 1990. He took it on 10 or so hunts and put at most 200 rounds of factory ammo through it up until 2004. It sat in the safe until around 2017 when I started dabbling with it and bought a die set. I had it shooting 200 gr Nosler Partitions with H1000 at 1 1/2" @ 100 yards. The older factory Weatherby ammo (thinking 90s when they had the vanilla box with animals on them) had ( 150 gr Nosler Partitions) would shoot 1" @ 100 all day long. Dad glassbedded the rifle and free floated the barrel to gain more MOA and ever sense it won't shoot. 2 in 1 hole and a flyer 6" away. The Weatherby Select ammo sprays like crazy as does Hornady GMX. I killed a muley @ 300 yards last year with reloads so its capable of hunting with the wood stock. I added a Bell and Carlson (green) stock but never got it glass bedded, just fit to the rifle.

The barrel was cut down to 21" when I had the muzzle brake made by Muzzle Brakes and More. Has 1" medium Talley rings/bases and comes with 3 stocks; the factory wood stock, the McMillian and the Bell and Carlson. The wood stock has some scratches but not chips. The McMillian was what Dad glass bed and does have a chip missing by the bolt. The Bell and Carlson is very clean, only 3 months old or so.

I think a glass bed job will do the trick. Im thinking its seen 500-600 rounds down the tube so it shouldnt be shot out. I loaded close to max book loads but always shoot 3 shot groups and gave atleast 10 minutes in between groups to fire.

I'll include around 40 rounds of brass thats been shot a bunch but appears to be still in good shape and around 40 rounds of factory ammo with a RCBS 2 die set.
