Weekend Scouting

I went on a short scouting run Thursday afternoon and Friday. I try to start about the 4th of July every year. Saw some good bucks and bulls but no monsters. It's hot and dry in SE Wyoming and the range/forage conditions are not the best. But the critters were looking good and antler development seems fine so far.

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July and you are getting geared up for the fall seasons.

The hay we're irrigating is having a hard time this summer. Hoping Middle Sybille Cr holds out for late summer water.
Seems all the rain has missed Laramie Peak and east Sybille Canyon area.
Lots of rattle snakes this summer too, we've been busy relocating some.
