What rifle Calibers have you used?

Fun thread to read. I will say this. I still use my dads Remington .270 that he bought new when he was 15. (He is now 85) I have replaced the Scope on it. I love this gun it shoots straight and has taken many deer and a few Elk.

Gotcha I have the bow tech - experience, bought it about ten years ago when it first came out. Often thought about upgrading to the latest greatest but I really like the feel and how well I can shoot with it. Thx for your experience with the experience

It's a great bow, doesn't have the speed of some of the newer bows, but as far as shoot ability it was probably my favorite bow I've owned.

For many years I used a 30.06 (Rugger M77), old reliable, but lately its been the 6.5 Creed. Thinking of bringing back the 30.06 to life an adding a piticcanny rail and adding a good scope with a turret. I love the simplicity of the 6.5 but miss the knockdown power the 30.06 has (lights out out affect at whatever it hits).

I've seen some obscure cartridges (and calibers) listed. Very cool!
The .32 Winchester Special was mentioned at least 5 times by my account. I have a 1949 Marlin .32 Special that I hunted with for the first time this year. No shot opportunities this year, but I hope to remedy that next year. Here in Missouri we get multiple doe tags, so it gives me the opportunity to hunt different guns. This year I took deer with a .257 Weatherby, an 8mm Rem Mag, and a 7mm-08 XP-100 pistol. I missed one with my Ruger Blackhawk .41 mag, dang it!
I've also killed over 40 deer with compound bows, including 2 this past year. I still have most of the bows that I have killed deer with over the last 25 or so years.
