White River elk 1st season

Just wondering who is headed out to hunt the 1st rifle season in the infamous White River units. Due to job changes and other obligations i will not be making the one way 1000 mile journey (from Wisconsin)this year and already miss it. Feel free to post any stories or pics to help a guy get through till next year! Good luck and safe travels too all!
 
We hunted it the 1st season (all 4 had cow tags) and only took 1 cow with 4 hunters but we should have taken 2 more cows. Only know of 1 other elk taken in the area. I only saw 1 elk (small 5 pt) in 4 1/2 days. Just too warm with minimal elk sightings in our group. Another friend hunted the 2nd season just for the weekend and didn't see much either as it's still very warm (low to mid 60's).
