Whitetail from San Antonio area

Hey guys, I live in Idaho so I’m not familiar with the size of deer that come from Texas area . I have a set of sheds a family member picked up in the San Antonio area and would like me to mount for him.

My question is are the whitetail in that area smaller in body size or on par With Whitetail from the Midwest or western states? I’m looking for a cape if There is a difference in color and size versus one from my area.

Deer around San Antonio tend to be smaller in body size and fairly short thinner hair. Coloration tends to be gray with a few getting that yellow/tan coloration. Average C measurement tends to be 17 inches on bucks. average bucks will have a 6.75 eye to nose with larger bucks having a 7 eye to nose. Hope this helps.
