Whitetail near Cody/Powell?

Okay, so we didn't draw our elk tags, so we're looking at plan B. I have a free place to stay in Cody so I'm wondering if there are any great/late whitetail hunts in this area. I've hunted mulies numerous times west of Cody with decent results, but I'm looking for a change.

there are lots of whitetails from cody all the way down to thermopolis....plenty of walk-in areas in prime river-bottom locations.....
