I’m getting pumped for 61 bear tag. This will be the first year I can take my boy on a moderate hunt. He’s tagged along on some easy private land elk hunts and deer hunts. But this will be his first good go at it with me.

Had one. Sent it back. Bought to many Idaho tags. Plus deer and elk Colorado tags to fill. But my wife has one so she can be the shooter this year when we see one

I added a left over bear tag to my high country rifle mule deer hunt. Don't really expect to see one but it will keep me in the field if I tag out early on a buck.
Do fall bears in Colorado generally have trichinosis? I would really like to have some bear meat but seeing meat with trichinosis is nasty.
