Went to my favorite wilderness again this year. As with many of my fellow hunting buds, I was happy that we were going to get weather. However, the weather was cold/rainy, but on the downside, cloudy/foggy. The weather and conditions (trail) were pretty brutal and to add the weather component?well it wasn?t too good.

As always, I was prepared for the ugliness but I can't shoot what I can't see and that part was just frustrating. Over the weekend, only managed 6-8 total hours of visibility and I was ready to bust the first decent buck I seen. On Sunday, after hunting for a couple of hours and playing the waiting game for visibility, I drew down on this sucker trying to leave my fair woods. He didn't make it?...
