Williams Fire

Drove by on I-40 this morning. Looks like the fire has laid down. The firefighters have done a good job. The fire was located just south of I-40 from the the Williams District Ranger Station back west towards Devil Dog Road. It did not come over the hill into Williams. It burned part way up the knobs on the northwest side of the mountain. It was windy today but it didn't look too bad this afternoon. Hopefully the fire won't come back to life.
 
News this morning said they lifted the evacuation. Everyone is on there way back to their homes.
