...I did another creation experiment in the lab last night. The monster started with the leftover, already cooked pork loin from the other night. I coated it with a rub of sea salt, paprika & black pepper. I first browned some chopped garlic in a small fryning pan, added the loin to quickly sear the outside of it & removed it. I had already mixed up a sauce of cider vinegar, soy sauce & honey, which then went into the pan to simmer for 10 mins. I had sliced the loin in the meantime, so I simply added them to the sauce to get the honey/garlic flavor & to warm it for the plate.
A baked tater with butter, sour cream & bacon bits, plus a mixed salad, completed the ensemble. Even Igor liked it.
